Level 1 Food and Nutrition
Course Description
In this subject ākonga develop an understanding of current issues related to food, nutrition and health and about how a range of factors influence the well-being of individuals, whānau and communities. Food & Nutrition is about the inter- connection between physical, mental, social and spiritual dimensions of people's lives.
Note: Students studying Level 1 may not select BOTH Level 1 Health AND Level 1 Food & Nutrition.
