Level 1 Economics
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs Y. Daly
Economics will make you a better decision maker. You already know how it feels to experience scarcity but do you know what scarcity means and how to make the most of your limited resources? Economics will help you to understand this and much more about the choices you face. You will be able to explain why consumers, producers and the government make the decisions they do about resources and understand how events such as earthquakes, pandemics and fashions affect the world around us. Numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills will be developed.
Note: Not all of the listed Standards will be covered – choices will be made in negotiation with the class teacher.
