Recommended Entry CriteriaLevel 1 or Level 2 Food Technology is preferred but not essential.
This course allows students to create their own food product. They will research different aspects of the impacts of farming meat for food and then develop a new plant-based product (sweet or savoury). They will also create a perfect backed cheesecake, starting with making their own cheeses for it.
All courses are dependent on student numbers and staffing. Students will be advised if the school is unable to provide the subjects they select. If a course is over-subscribed, students will be required to take part in a selection process.
