Ä€konga will work with a local charity to develop a gluten free meal suitable for freezing and reheating. They will also use information from International Students to create a bread product inspired by International cuisine. There is a split between theory and practical components in this course.
Note: This course has mostly the same assessments as Level 1 Technology and Level 1 Materials Technology Textiles. If students chose to study two of these three subjects, some alternative standards may be available. If not, the credits attained are only counted once. Students must discuss this with their Dean and Head of Department - Mr Gillespie or Ms Brown.
