Level 2 Business Studies
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Ms Y. Daly.
Students work in teams to run a business enterprise with a community well-being focus. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) alongside NCEA. You will work with local business people, and have the chance to compete in regional and national competitions against other schools for regional awards, cash prizes and tertiary scholarships. Due to its collaborative nature, this course requires full participation, strong self-management skills and high attendance.
Students need to apply to take this course.
Recommended Entry Criteria
NCEA Level 1 in English & Mathematics or see HOD.
