Level 2 Visual Art - Design

Course Description

How does design work as a graphic language? What methods and techniques do designers use to create and formulate ideas? This subject allows students to explore contemporary methods and processes related to visual design. Emphasis is placed on developing set skills in the use of mixed media practices, alongside the use of existing digital technologies such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to reflect on, and refine work.

Recommended Entry Criteria

Level 1 Visual Art, Level 1 Digital Technology Media, Level 1 Digital Studies, or Level 1 Design & Visual Communication.
