Year 9 Te Reo Māori
Course Description
New Zealanders are becoming more aware of the importance of gaining some knowledge and understanding of Māori culture. The emphasis in the Year 9 course is to research ancestry and be able to communicate that in a mihi. Time is spent on learning tikanga such as karakia and student learning is supported by waiata and games.
