Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr D. McGlashen.
This course is recommended for students who do not intend to pursue Level 2 & 3 Biology, Chemistry or Physics. It does provide a pathway into Level 2 Science, but entry into L2 Biology, Chemistry or Physics will require approval from the appropriate HOD. It will develop students’ critical thinking skills and benefit them in many aspects of their life. A range of topics, that all relate to science in the world around them, will be explored through practical investigations, Mātauranga Māori and local contexts.
