Level 3 Advanced English for Experts

Course Description

This course is for students who are likely to study or need English at tertiary level. It is a highly academic subject that gives students the tools to to be “critically aware”. This course is recommended for those thinking of taking Scholarship and allows for subject endorsement.

Note: Not all of the listed Standards will be covered – choices will be made in negotiation with the class teacher to a maximum of 22 credits.  Subject endorsement possible.

Recommended Entry Criteria

Merit or Excellence, 14 Level 2 English Achievement Standard credits, which include passes in the Level 2 external exams in English. Teacher consultation and guidance at course selection time will be vital.
