Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr A. Gillespie
Students develop skills and understanding in the field of textile design in this course. Students plan, design, construct and evaluate textile products using understanding gained from research whilst developing appropriate skills in construction techniques. Creativity is encouraged. The first standard is applying design to fabric and the remaining standards are developing a garment with complex procedures to produce a quality outcome.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Own fabrics and notions, drawing paper and competition entry fees.

Level 1 Textiles Technology, Level 2 Textiles Technology, or see HOD.
