Level 2 Visual Art - Photography
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr S. Oughton.
This subject builds on the skills and understanding of exploring a range of contemporary artist model approaches in the production of photographic artwork. Emphasis is geared towards producing a portfolio of work in preparation for Level 3 NCEA. Basic camera skills will be taught in this subject, alongside the use of digital processes such as Adobe Photoshop for the production of fine photographic printing.
Recommended Entry Criteria
Level 1 Visual Art and gained credits for external portfolio.
Contributions and Equipment/Stationery
Course Cost: $45.00 Printing, $10.00 Adobe Suite cost additional. DSLR 35mm or Mirrorless Camera, USB stick and SD card required.
