Welcome to Level 2 Psychology! This course will ignite your curiosity about the human mind and behaviour. You will explore: Ethics in Psychology: Learn about confidentiality, informed consent, and ethical decision-making through the case studies of the Stanford Prison Experiment and Milgram’s Shock Experiment. Psychological Approaches: Study major perspectives like biological, behavioural, and psychodynamic and apply them to celebrity addictions. Psychological Research: Understand research design, data collection, analysis, and ethical considerations through conducting research on teen sleep. Fields of Psychological Practice: Discover careers in educational, health, and sports psychology.
This course is targeted towards students who care about people, are wanting to take this subject at university, or interested in careers in nursing, teaching, and police.
Recommended Entry Criteria
Level 1 Literacy or see HOD.
