Level 1 Science A
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr D. McGlashen.
This course is recommended if you intend to continue with Levels 2 & 3 Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Topics will explore scientific concepts at a deeper level, through practical, theory, Mātauranga Māori and local contexts. You will build on your knowledge from Year 10 Science, while being introduced to a range of interesting and exciting topics, in which you will develop your critical thinking skills.
Note: The course will include three of the standards listed.
