Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr T. Wright.
Our theme for this year is ‘What is a Historian?”
Students will study a range of contexts from World History. They will develop strategies for processing information, especially from online, to develop their ability to identify bias and propaganda and different perspectives. History helps students develop their formal writing style and ability to interpret complex texts. An understanding of history helps students to understand the world that they live in and gives them the skills they need to flourish. The course will include three of the standards listed.
