Course Description

Through visits to local businesses, case studies and news stories you will develop your ability to evaluate economic information and decisions and the impacts they have on different groups in society and environments in Aotearoa New Zealand. Commerce Economics can give you the facts and theory to explain why you think the way you do about possible solutions to real-world problems. This course is assessed using Level 2 Achievement Standards and provides a pathway into further study of Level 2 and 3 Economics at Years 12 and 13.
