Year 9 Music

This course is based on enjoyment and experiencing a wide range of music.  It will give the students enough understanding of the basics of music to continue to learn music in Year 10 and at NCEA level. Students of all abilities are welcome, including those who have not taken music previously.  Students will experience acoustic and electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboard/piano, singing and electronic-based performance.  Throughout the term students are assessed on various instruments and music theory.  The final project is an assessed-group Blues performance.
