Course Description

This course builds on the knowledge and skills of financial processing and reporting gained in Level 1 Accounting and develops useful employment skills. Students will investigate how a local business protects one of its most valuable assets, stock, against theft and fraud. They will also investigate how a contemporary accounting issue impacts the decision-making of a local entity. In combination with Economics, Accounting is a sound platform for future studies in commerce and business administration.
