Through learning in this curriculum, students will gain the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values to enjoy a healthy lifestyle and to contribute actively to the well-being of other people and the well-being of their communities. Students will take increasing responsibility for their own health and learn movement skills in a wide range of contexts. They will develop the skills that will enable them to enhance their relationships with other people. The main areas of learning in Year 10 are Health (Drug Education, Well-being, Sexuality Education and Health Promotion) and Physical Education (Aquatics, Athletics, Fitness, Team Sports, Creative Movement).
