Level 1 Media Studies

This course is an introduction to Media Studies. It is for students intending to study Media Studies in Years 12 and/or 13. Media Studies will give students an understanding of the messages and values represented in the media on a global scale and through close analysis of specific areas. Students are expected to have access to a computer.
Recommended Entry Criteria
No entry criteria, however, Media Studies requires a reasonable level of literacy skills.

Total Credits Available: 19 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 4 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 15 credits.
